Working with in-store marketing giant, Catalina Marketing, and Food Club Brands, consumers who purchased $15 of Food Club brands received a free Hollywood Movie Money ticket to see the Dreamworks release of Puss in Boots. When the purchase was made, consumers received a Catalina store transaction receipt with a Hollywood Movie Money code that they downloaded at a custom website and activated their free movie ticket.
The program was advertised via static clings, aisle blades, freezer clings, and savings guide (4week exposure), along with online communication to a customer database. More than 45,000 movie codes were printed by Catalina.
